Returns & exchanges.
1. Exchange Policy
All returns are effectively processed inside a 14-day window post-delivery. To be eligible, solar hardware must remain mint, unused, and sealed in factory boxes. Any kit showing installation marks will be strictly declined.
2. Limited Items
Specific items are final-sale for security reasons: assembled batteries, custom solar arrays, fixed panels, and clearance items. Large-scale corporate contracts follow unique legal protocols. Confirm all specs prior to requesting a return for your goods.
3. Application
To begin, email info@solarpowerkit.co.za with your receipt. Once approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) alongside instructions for dropping off your solar components at our designated regional warehouse for inspection.
4. Formal Review
Upon arrival at our tech facility, engineers will evaluate the unit. We contact you via email to confirm the status of your credit. All approved claims are processed for repayment without any unnecessary delay.
5. Refund
Accepted refunds are reversed to your original card within 7–10 business days. Bank delays might occur. Solar Power Kits does not offer any cash payouts at our physical showrooms or storage sites.
6. Logistical
Buyers cover all freight costs for sending back heavy machinery. Original delivery fees are excluded from refunds. If we arrange a pickup at your house, the shipping fee is deducted from the final amount.
7. Faulty Hardware
Shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours. For internal errors, manufacturer warranties apply (usually 5–10 years). We cover shipping only for items confirmed as dead on arrival at your business site.
8. Store Credits
We only swap out defective electronics. If you want a different inverter, we issue digital vouchers after the hardware is cleared by our technical experts at the main distribution factory.
9. Compliance
This document works with our Delivery Policy and Terms. These frameworks govern the sale and usage of all Solar Power Kits inventory and utility-scale electrical power installations.
